AR-powered remote studio control.

A 75 sqm expo booth turned into a fully operational TV studio with AR, PTZ camera coverage and remote production control executed from 800 km away.

The project compressed studio engineering, graphics, prompting, switching and playout into a remote workflow where only the presenters remained on site while the full production stack was operated from a distant control center.

01 / Challenge and Solution

Temporary event footprint, permanent-grade studio behavior.

Challenge

An expo booth had to operate like a real TV studio.

The brief was to convert a 75 sqm event booth into a live-capable studio and keep almost the whole production workflow off site. The system had to remain responsive enough for real broadcasting while preserving visual quality, camera variety and AR output.

Solution

Remote switching, remote prompting and on-site talent only.

The booth was rebuilt as a compact AR-ready studio linked to a remote control center. Camera switching, lighting cues, graphics overlays, prompting and Dalet playout were all executed from 800 km away, allowing the production team to reduce the on-site footprint without reducing broadcast discipline.

The film shows how a dense booth environment can still feel measured and broadcast-grade when control is centralized: camera positions stay responsive, graphics remain spatially integrated and the final output reads as a complete studio rather than a temporary stand build.

7 Canon CR-N700 cameras PTZ network

Seven 4K PTZ cameras covered three zones and created enough camera variety for a booth-scale studio to feel editorially rich on air.

4 to 8 frame control delay latency window

The response envelope stayed tight enough for practical live operation, allowing the remote team to pan, tilt, zoom and reframe with confidence.

Virtual multicam logic software reframing

Wide, medium and close-up perspectives could be derived from a single 4K feed, expanding shot vocabulary without crowding the booth with extra hardware.

Real-time AR overlays Unreal Engine 5

The graphics layer used Unreal Engine 5 for live 3D augmentation, connecting the presentation environment with a more premium and contemporary visual language.

Remote switching and playout signal workflow

Switching, prompt operation and Dalet playout were consolidated into the distant control center, keeping the event floor clean and focused.

Encrypted IP transmission 800 km link

The signal chain relied on secure IP-based transmission over long distance, allowing the studio to function as part of a wider distributed broadcast system.
